Howard Yellen, Founder & Chairman

Mr. Yellen is a leading advocate for class members in both securities and commercial class-actions. In 2005, he founded Spectrum Settlement Recovery to provide complete claims filing and recovery services in commercial and securities class action settlements. Mr. Yellen was founder and president of Settlement Recovery Center (Spectrum’s preceding company), a claims filing company dedicated to obtaining recoveries in the various state anti-trust settlements with Microsoft.

Early in his career Mr. Yellen was a practicing attorney at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe, a major San Francisco-based law firm. He received his A.B. from Vassar College, and his J.D. from University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, where he was Technology Editor of the California Law Review.

David Morgenstein, Founder & President

Mr. Morgenstein co-founded Settlement Recovery Center in 2003 and transitioned to Spectrum in 2005. Prior to SRC, he served as Director of Operations at Commerce One, the pioneer in E-commerce marketplaces. Earlier in his career, Mr. Morgenstein has held executive level positions at various technology and distribution companies. He earned a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University. Mr. Morgenstein was an F-15 Flight Commander in the U.S. Air Force.

Hugh Alexander, General Counsel

Mr. Alexander has 18 years of experience representing Fortune 100 companies in complex business litigation, unfair business practices claims, products liability and mass tort claims, contract disputes, and employment matters.  His career began in San Francisco with Bingham McCutchen, a major national firm.  Mr. Alexander’s  experience includes trying numerous cases to verdict in both state and federal courts.  He received his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin (cum laude) where he was the Administrative Editor of the Texas Law Review.  Mr. Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree with special honors, also from the University of Texas, in the Humanities Honors Program.

Christophe Kloussing, Vice President

Mr. Kloussing has been enabling attorneys and finance executives to increase their profitability, coaching them on issues of strategic planning and financial matters. Mr. Kloussing has been with Spectrum since 2004, and he oversees sales, business development and other aspects of the business. Earlier in his career, he was in charge of domestic and international operations for various technology companies and played key roles in global business development.  Mr. Kloussing has held leadership positions at Sony, Bouygues and Cable & Wireless.  Mr. Kloussing graduated in Finance and Marketing summa cum laude and he received his M.B.A. from ESSEC.
